Itinerary begins when you are picked up at Wilpattu National Park entrance by our team. The first journey to the campsite itself is a short Safari game drive but the real Safari begins after your lunch at the safari camp site (Evening Safari). You will be back again at the campsite for an overnight stay after the evening Safari. The next day early morning Safari will provide you chances of spotting the Leopards. So we suggest youto wake up early in order to have more time for the Safari and have a late breakfast. Though you have full day of Safari on the second day, in different intervals you need to come to the campsite for meals.
During the noon most of the animals seek shade inside the jungle and there will be less chances of seeing them in abundance during that time which is an ideal time for you to relax at the safari campsite under a shade in a hammock. The second Safari game drive on the second day begins at 3PM. After the second Safari game drive you will be driven back to the camp site for hearty BBQ Dinner and an overnight stay. Third day early morning you have another game drive opportunity before the breakfast. Your check out will be at 11AM after the breakfast.
During one of the Safari Jeep Tours you will be visiting West coast of the National Park which is very scenic. In th same trip you will be visiting a place called "Kudiramalai Point" (The Horse Mountain) where the written history testify as the starting place of the "Sinhalese" (The Mahavansa records that in 543 BC Prince Vijaya landed at Kudrimalai Point (Horse Point), married Kuweni and founded the Sinhalese race. ) We take you to see the ruins of Kuwenis Palace too.
